First time on CD ever, hear the songs that made THE NERDS crawl up from one of the many assholes of the world to conquer their place in the punk rock biz. All the first singles are collected here, including some unreleased tracks and a live version of ANTiSEEN's "Animals Eat'em" recorded live in Holland with Jeff Clayton on vocal duty.

Their full-length: "Just Because She Didn't Wanna Fuck" on Stardumb Records was very impressive, fast, loud, and dirty punk rock, I think they prefer to call it Scum punk, which sounds totally perfect to me!! I got told that their peak was just before their full-length, which was released in the summer of 2000. I couldn't agree less after listening. They released a hand full of 7 inches before their full-length, which are all captured on this CD, LORDS OF DREGS AND CRAP on Laja Records, a compilation of all their singles, and the leftovers from their full-lenght. You can hear how they evolved from a bit garage-punk'n'roll sound to the more dirty, loud, punk sound to the more metal/hard rock kinda sound. The tracks on the disc aren't in chronological order, but the booklet of the cd has all the info about the releases and which tracks they are. I think it's a very neat disc, 24 good, no bull-shit evil rock'n'roll tunes of which a few are covers of GG Allin and the Angry Samoans and some more brought to you by 4 Italian barbarians of the stone age called THE NERDS!
